EMK PRACTITIONER PATHWAY
Your Journey to Becoming a Qualified Emotions and Metaphysical Kinesiology™ Practitioner
Embark on a transformative pathway to become a certified Emotions and Metaphysical Kinesiology™ (EMK) Practitioner in as little as 10 months! If you refer a slower pace, you have the flexibility to complete your training in your own time.
The EMK Practitioner Pathway is designed as a step-by-step learning journey, with each course building on to the next. You will complete six in-person training courses, plus an 8-week online training module with EMK founder Denise Robinson giving you the perfect blend of hands-on experience and expert mentorship.
The Emotions and Metaphysical Kinesiology™ modality is fully accredited and recognised by the International Institute for Complementary Therapists (IICT) as a Premier Training Provider in the “Specialised Kinesiology” category. You’ll discover how to use muscle testing, kinesiology remedies, metaphysical insights, and energetic balancing techniques to create genuine and lasting energetic transformations. This grounded and practical modality empowers you to confidently guide deep healing experiences for both yourself and others.
But this training is more than a qualification, it’s a complete launchpad for your holistic career. You’ll gain practical tools and business guidance to help you confidently establish your own kinesiology practice. From setting up your business systems and building your website, to growing your social media presence, attracting clients, and communicating with confidence.
Certification Requirements
To become a certified Emotions and Metaphysical Kinesiology™ (EMK) Practitioner, all courses and programs in Steps 1, 2, 3, and 4 must be successfully completed with competency. To be eligible to enrol in the Practitioner Certification Training Program, you must have attended all EMK courses listed in Steps 1 through to Steps 3.

The Practitioner Certification Training Program is exclusively facilitated by Denise Robinson from By The Bay Kinesiology and is offered once per year, commencing in August. Training is delivered online via live video conference with Denise and includes 30 hours of live, face-to-face learning, available in daytime or evening sessions.

The Emotions and Metaphysical Kinesiology™ Modality is fully accredited, certified, and recognised by the International Institute for Complementary Therapists (IICT) as a Premier Training Provider under Specialised Kinesiology. Upon completion of the full EMK Practitioner Pathway and certification as an EMK Practitioner, you become eligible for IICT membership and professional insurance coverage. The Emotions and Metaphysical Kinesiology™ Practitioner Certification is an independent qualification, trademarked and copyrighted by By The Bay Kinesiology®.
- All six Emotions and Metaphysical Kinesiology™ Courses (198 hours)
- The Online EMK Practitioner Certification Training Program (80 hours)

- Insurance: -
Practitioners must hold Public Liability, Professional, and Products Indemnity Insurance to practice EMK. Insurance is available through IICT membership, and a dedicated EMK Practitioner link will be provided upon certification. - Practitioner Agreement:-
You will be required to sign the By The Bay Kinesiology® Emotions and Metaphysical Kinesiology™ Practitioner Agreement, which includes:- A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

- Recertification Terms
- Recertification is required every two years, as outlined in the Practitioner Agreement, to maintain active Certified Practitioner status.
- To maintain Active Certified Practitioner status, all Emotions and Metaphysical Kinesiology™ (EMK) Practitioners are required to complete recertification every two years.
- The recertification process involves booking a 2-hour Recertification Session with a Certified EMK Assessor, for a flat fee of $300.00, payable directly to your instructor.
Each Recertification Session includes: - 60 minutes where you, as the Practitioner, conduct a live EMK session to demonstrate continued competency and confidence as a Practitioner.
- 60 minutes of personalised mentoring of personalised mentoring to strengthen your EMK practice, broaden your knowledge, and explore any questions around client sessions or your business growth.
- Your Recertification Session can be scheduled within three months prior to your recertification due date and must be completed every two years in line with your original certification date, as shown on your certificate. Recertification sessions with Frances Kounto can be held in person or online. The By The Bay Kinesiology® office will contact you via email when your recertification is due. Upon successful completion, an administration and processing fee of $66 will apply, which includes the issue of your updated electronic certification.
- Active status means your certification is current and up to date. If recertification is not completed within the two-year period, your practitioner status will be marked as ‘inactive’ in our system.
