Through Five Element Balancing and Constitutional Profiling, you’ll uncover the beauty of your core nature and deepen your understanding of how each element shapes your body, mind, emotions, and the way you move through the world.
You’ll also build on your muscle testing and kinesiology balancing skills while working hands on with others. Together, we’ll explore how the Five Elements influence our ability to love, nurture, respect, reassure and express ourselves - awakening profound acceptance and appreciation of self.

- Learn new skills, remedies and techniques to expand your existing Kineasy toolbox.
- Connect and grow with other participants as you explore all the Elements and gain a true understanding of Fire, Earth, Metal, Water and Wood — in the world around you, within your body, your mind and thoughts, your character, and how you see and experience life.
- Discover and experience the Essence of each Element: Fire – Excite (loving ourselves), Earth – Nurture (nurturing ourselves), Metal – Refine (respecting ourselves), Water – Be (reassuring ourselves), and Wood – Do (asserting ourselves).
- Learn to use the Element Acupressure Points with the Element Balancing Oils to shift energy through the Five Elements, creating deep healing and balance in the body.
- Explore the Spirit and Psyches of the Five Elements: Fire – Shen (Mind & Spirit), Earth – Yi (Thought & Intention), Metal – Po (Physical Soul), Water – Zhi (Willpower, Drive, Ambition), and Wood – Hun (Life Plan, Purpose, Direction).
- Watch your instructor demonstrate a kinesiology Element balance, giving you a clear, firsthand understanding of the process in action.
- On day two, dive into learning about the Fire, Earth, Metal, Water and Wood Constitutions — what they mean, how to identify them in others, and discover which Element you are. This part of the course is always exciting, insightful and eye-opening.
- By the end of the second day, you’ll feel confident and capable balancing the Five Elements in the body using acupressure points and other effective healing techniques.
What you will Learn
- Yin and Yang
- The Law of the Five Elements including cycles, relationships and interactions of the Five Elements
- The Five Elements in nature: movement, season, climate, developmental stage, colour, taste/flavour, odour/scent, time of day, direction, planet, grain
- In-depth look and understanding of the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Five Elements (Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, Wood): essence, meridians, organs, sense, tissue, fluid, appearance, expression, spirit/psyches, emotions, feeling, ways of reacting, basic need, spiritual issue, virtues, ways to correct imbalance, physical indications of imbalance, emotional/spiritual indications of balance and imbalance
- Constitutional profiling of all the Five Elements to discover your own constitution and how to determine other people’s — profiling includes body type (hair, eyes, face, complexion, body antics), movement, traits, self-talk, coping response and life issues, and favourite things; this process is profound, changes perception, and builds appreciation and compassion for yourself and others
- All about the Hara and its relationship to the body, including how to test and identify when an Element is imbalanced using the body’s Hara and muscle reflex testing
- Element Acupressure points for each Element (Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, Wood) taught in meaningful, practical ways that are quick, easy and effective to provide healing, energy, grounding, balance, relaxation and flow, direction, strength, power and transformation

- Skills and techniques to communicate and connect openly and genuinely with your client to build trust, open their heart and allow them to feel (feeling is part of the healing)

Accreditation & Assessment Information
Course Hours: 16 hours of face-to-face classroom learning and 15 hours of out-of-class time, which includes an online assessment, six case studies, and three Elemental Profiling case studies. Total course proficiency hours equal 31 hours.
Accreditation Hours: By The Bay Kinesiology® – 31 hours.
Please note: The Emotions and Metaphysical Kinesiology™ Modality Practitioner Certification is independent, trademarked, and copyrighted to By The Bay Kinesiology®. The full EMK pathway, comprising 278 hours, must be completed to become a Certified Emotions and Metaphysical Kinesiology™ Practitioner.
Competency Requirements and Outcomes: Students must demonstrate competency in both written and practical assessments with a minimum pass mark of 75%. Six Element case studies and three Constitutional Profiling case studies must be completed after the course to achieve proficiency. A Certificate of Attendance will be issued via email for 16 hours upon completion of the class. Once competency requirements are met, a Certificate of Proficiency will be issued via email for 31 hours.
Course Prerequisite: Kineasy Intro Course.
Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Hours: 16 hours attendance / 31 hours proficiency.
Australian Kinesiology Association (AKA): 26 hours Category B.
Australian Institute of Kinesiologists (AIK): 26 hours.
The EMK Modality is fully accredited, certified, and recognised by the International Institute for Complementary Therapists (IICT) as a Premier Training Provider under ‘Specialised Kinesiology’. Once the full EMK Pathway is completed and you are certified as an Emotions and Metaphysical Kinesiology™ Practitioner, you will be eligible for IICT membership and insurance.
